Who am I?

Who am I?

Welcome to the blog! So you want to know more about me, do you? I hope you will stick around to get to know me some more in depth, but here are some things to start you off.

I am a writer. I've been writing since I was young, and have progressed from cringe-worthy short stories, poems and novels that are better left forgotten to works in progress that I am reasonably proud of and attached to.

I am a reader - a book dragon (because dragons are better than worms). I've gone through wardrobes and books and hidden doors, received owl post and camp beads, battled dragons and pirates and Dark Lords, and come safely home. I love to read and always have. While I enjoy reading many genres, including historical fiction, mystery, and sci-fi, fantasy is my safe haven and my home.

I am a thespian - a proud member of both the ninja "crew" and crazy "cast." You may hear me ramble about theater or draw references from it from time to time.

I am a dreamer. I stare into space for too long, and I spend long car rides in a dreamworld.

I am a bit of a geek and a nerd - people tell me that my Hogwarts house is Ravenclaw, and I disagree in a very Ravenclaw way, telling them that "Family, friends, and loyalty is more important than intelligence, so by the very definition of the Houses, I would be in Hufflepuff." I've been caught doing algebra for fun, and I will be very happy to talk to you about language, psychology, history, and math.

I am a student. I've been homeschooled all of my life. I am also swamped with schoolwork now and then, and have to work like mad to understand all of this trivia (because knowing the double angle  trig formula is only apply to my life as "trivia" instead of "necessary knowledge.").

I am a human. And it is one of my greatest wishes to bring joy into the world and to improve the lives of others.

So there I am, in a few words. Writer, reader, dreamer.
